Kantara Chapter 1 was set to be released in the theatres of India on October 2, 2025. The Kantara Chapter 1 OTT rights was gained by Amazon Prime Video for Rs. 125 crores. The movie is said to be streamed in the OTT from October 30th 2025 has been mentioned in some of the sources. This movie is a Kannada based original film. This movie has also been dubbed into Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam. This movie speaks about the history of Kantara. Kantara Chapter 1 is said to reach about Rs. 1000 crores.
