Bomb(2025) Review, Castings and Box Office

Bomb(2025)  is a 2025 Indian Tamil language film which can be described as a enthusiastic realism social drama captured by rural satire –  it’s a mixture of humour, belief, superstition and confliction in a village which is divided by sects of faithfulness. This movie was directed by Vishal Venkat, and co-written along with Manikandan Mathavan and Abhishek Sabarigirison. The dialogue part was handled by Makizhnan BM. This movie’s songs were composed by D.Imman. This film is produced by Sudha Sukumar and Sukumar Balakrishnan under the Gembrio Pictures banner. Arjun Das and Shivathmika Rajashekar played a lead role in the movie. Bomb released in the theatres on 12th September 2025. The Cinematography part was handled by RajKumar PM and the editing part was handled by Prasanna GK.

Castings of Bomb(2025)

Arjun Das played the lead role as Mani Muthu. Shivathmika Rajashekar acted in an actress role. Kaali Venkat acted as Kathiravan. PriyaVenkat played the role of Thangamayil. Nassar, Abhirami, Singampuli, Bala Saravanan, TSK, Poovaiyar and others played supportive roles.

Bomb(2025) Songs

The Music for this movie has been composed by D.Imman. The First Song “Innum Ethana Kaalam”  was released on 23rd August 2025, this song was written by the Lyricist Mani Amuthavan , and the song was sung by Karthik and Shweta Mohan. The Second song “Ovvoru Manusanum Ovvoru Vitham” which was sung by Meghna Sumesh. The third song “Celebration Horn” which was sung by D. Imman. The next song “Iraivaa” which was sung by Madhu Balakrishnan and Haricharan. The Final song “Oliya Kekka” which was sung by Pushpavanam Kuppusamy and Yazin Nizar along with D.Imman

The movie begins with Kaalakammaipatti which is a rural village which got divided into two sectors Kaalapatti and Kammaipatti in which each of this village hold strong but very unique religious beliefs. Kathiravan(Kaali Venkat), an outrageous atheist who denies all this kind of worship, out of the blue he dies on a sacred night. 

After his death, something weird happens, where his body keeps farting continuously. The village peoples felt so suspicious and started trusting and communicated this as a holy miracle or a divine sign. Both villages agree that Kathiravan’s body belongs to them, which they had believed would carry all spiritual power and prestige.

Manimuthu(Arjun Das), friend of Kathiravan, denies to believe that his friend just got dead. He starts to question the villagers about the faith and tries to reveal what is really happening. As the struggle grows, the whole village is in chaos – with religion, superstition, politics and human greed which get puzzled together parallely.

The climax carries the core layout: about how a blind trust and faith can override humanity. Kathiravan’s uncommon condition is shown to be a natural occurrence(not a rarity), but then, the damage of religious revenge and manipulation has already finished. Manimuthu’s battle which shows the fight for logic, science and compassion which stands against the irritation beliefs.
